Rebuild

So what do you do when you completely write off your car, and you happen to be a panel beater, also mechanically minded, and stubborn as hell?
You rebuild it and make it into something else.

Murray loved the Austin Healey. He was also loved racing and driving fast. The top Austin Healey racing car in its day was the 100S. And if you had one (an original one), well, you’d be the envy of many Austin Healey enthusiasts.

Murray was capable of building a car. So his goal (which probably started as a dream, then turned into an obsession/project) was to make a 100S Replica (with modern mods) out of a 100/4. Putting in a better, more modern running gear, a reliable (powerful) Nissan FJ20 motor, and something that could make it stop. (Volvo brakes)

The following photos tell their own story. (there are only a few with notes)
