The beginning
In 1971, Murray bought the 1954 Austin Healey, a private sale from Dunedin, New Zealand. Years later, with Donald, in 1978, he migrated to Australia for 31 years and eventually came back to New Zealand again in 2009, Settling in Invercargill.
The labeling of ‘Donald’ started with the 100/4 Red Healey but really became more frequently referred to as “Donald” after the 100S replica was made from the rebuild.
The original 1954 Healey was Green.
