We understood that Murray had an excessive compulsive love of driving. And even though he was a member of the Austin Healey Owners Club (NSW), he was more about driving than socializing. We were told Murray would go on car runs but not stay over. Instead, he would turn around and drive back home. This is precisely what happened when he entered a raffle to win a fully restored Healey, leaving before it was drawn. Returning home to find out then he won the car. (aka The Blue Healey)

We don’t know what became of the Blue Healey. At first, we thought it was used for parts to rebuild the Red Healey, but that really seemed like a waste of an “already working” car.
It is possible Murray on-sold the Blue Healey. There were no records of any sale that we could find. Perhaps someone out there can shed some light on its fate.
